This Writ Petition is filed challenging the demand notice dated 20.07.2008, issued by the 2nd respondent - Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Guntur, Guntur District, directing the petitioner to pay the difference of stamp duty of Rs.10,59,260/-.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the matter has become infructuous. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
