THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 36635 of 2014 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioner complains the inaction of respondent authorities in protecting the Government land and seeks a direction to the respondents to allot the said land to Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple for public purposes. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleaders for Home and Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 & 5 and 2 & 4 respectively and Sri Chatla Madhu, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation appearing for respondent No.3. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue that pursuant to the order dated 01.02.2014 passed by this Court, the representation of the petitioner was dealt with and endorsement was issued by the second respondent - District Collector, Ranga Reddy, on 22.01.2020.

As per the said endorsement, the subject land is in possession of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation with compound wall and boards are erected in respect thereto. Therefore, it is not possible for allotment of 1000 square yards of land in favour of the aforesaid temple, as sought by the petitioner.

CKR, J W.P.No.36635 of 2014 Inasmuch as the representation of the petitioner with respect to protection of the subject land had been attended to and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has taken adequate steps for protection of the subject land, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum to redress its grievance, if any. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
