THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.8464 of 2017 ORDER:
This petition is filed, by the petitioner-accused No.1, under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail in Crime No.08 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Mothugudem Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the trial Court to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rampachodavaram, East Godavari District, is hereby directed to dispose of the matter, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
