THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.11000 of 2008 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief/s: 'to direct the respondents especially the respondent no.3 to permit the petitioner to participate in Bhramotsavams in Sri Venkateswaraswamy Temple, chikkadpally, Hyderabad as a member of the founder family of the temple being held from 19th May 2008 to 27th May 2008 along with the family of the eldest brother of the petitioner by name Sri Rajendranath Goud without any discrimination and pass such other order...' [Reproduced verbatim] When the matter, which is listed under the caption 'for orders', is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the writ petitioner. I have heard the learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent.

The only prayer in the writ petition is to direct the 3rd respondent, in particular, to permit the petitioner and his family to participate in Brahmothsavams of the said temple being held from 19.05.2008 to 27.05.2008 along with the family of the 4th respondent without showing any discrimination. The learned counsel present would submit that since the period has already elapsed, no cause survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
