THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 27382 of 2012 ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 3. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is heard and disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not disposing of the stay petition in the revision filed by the petitioner against the orders passed by the 2nd respondent vide D.Dis.No.2276/2010/K dated 04.07.2012, as illegal and arbitrary.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he filed a revision petition before 1st respondent on 04.08.2012 against the orders passed by the 2nd respondent vide D.Dis.No.2276/2010/K dated 04.07.2012 cancelling the pattadar passbooks issued in his favour in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.54 cents in Survey No.292/3 situated at Nakkapalli Village, Visakhapatnam District, along with a stay petition, till date no orders are passed either in the revision or on the stay petition.

Having regard to the circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the

revision petition filed by the petitioner against the orders passed by the 2nd respondent vide D.Dis.No.2276/2010/K dated 04.07.2012, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Till such time, status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained by the parties. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand dismissed.
