Today, when the matter is called, none appeared for petitioner, despite the matter is listed under the caption 'for Dismissal'. A perusal of the case would disclose that the petitioner had challenged the action of respondent No.1 in not considering the representation dated 15.09.2003 submitted by the petitioner dated 15.09.2003 and sought for a consequential direction to allow the petitioner to write the test interview being conducted by respondent No.1 for the post of Sub-Staff.
The docket sheet shows that no interim orders were granted by this Court.
In view of lapse of time, the cause in the above writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
