ORDER:
This writ petition is filed declaring inaction of the respondents in disposing of the representation dt.27.11.2006 by allotting Quarter No.SD 520, B-Zone, Ramakrishnapur, Mandamarri, Adilabad District, as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently sought a direction to the respondents not to collect the penal charges from the petitioner. 2.
This Court, by order dt.13.02.2007 in WPMP.No.3542 of 2007, granted interim direction as prayed for by the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents Company informs the Court that in terms of interim direction, no penal rent was collected from the petitioner and that the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.10.2018 and he vacated the said quarter on 27.07.2016. 4.
In view thereof, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
