Against the proceedings of the Project Director dated 30.05.2015 in removing the petitioner from service temporarily, who was working as Field Assistant under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, he preferred appeal to the 2nd respondent - District Collector, who is the Appellate Authority, and the said authority issued notice dated 23.05.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that the appellate authority is not disposing of the appeal. Hence the writ petition. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy counsel for respondents 2 to 5.
Having regard to the above facts and circumstances without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent - Appellate Authority, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, if not already disposed of.
