THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.16471 of 2018 ORDER:
In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is noncompletion of investigation into case in Crime No.580 of 2017, on the file of the Station House Officer, Punjagutta Police Station, Hyderabad/3rd respondent herein, which was registered on reference of a private complaint by the learned Magistrate concerned.

I have heard the submissions of Sri T.Nitender Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record. 3.
At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if a direction is given to complete the investigation and file a final report or a charge sheet and also follow the mandate of the provision of Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, and the precedential guidelines in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1, the ends of justice would be met. 4.
Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Punjagutta Police Station, 1 (2014) 8 Supreme Court Cases 273
Hyderabad/3rd respondent herein, to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime and file a final report, either way, by following the procedure established by law. He is further directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, and the precedential guidelines in Arnesh Kumar's Case (Supra 1) in the matter. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
