THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.10049 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not paying the compensation amount in lieu of acquisition of the house sites of the petitioners situated in Sy.No.203, situated at Gollapalli hamlet of Karkambadi Village and Post, Renigunta Mandal, Chittoor District, for the purpose of extension of Mallemadugu Reservoir under Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi (GNSS), in spite of our repeated written representations followed by the personal visits, as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust, discriminatory and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent authorities to pay the compensation and to provide alternative house sites on par with others."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of their grievance, the petitioners submitted representation, dated 08.10.2015 to respondents 2 and 4 but no action has been taken thereon. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to direct respondents 2 and 4 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 08.10.2015 within a timeframe.

AVSS, J W.P.No.10049 of 2017 On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that appropriate action will be taken on the said representation in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing respondents 2 and 4 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 08.10.2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioners, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J 22nd MARCH, 2017.
