This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking the following relief: " ... to declare the Endorsement No.B/4975/2016 dt;12.8.2016 on the file of Respondent No.4 as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, contrary to the provisions of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass books Act, 1971 and the Rules made there under and consequently direct the Respondents to take steps for mutating the petitioners name in revenue records in respect of measuring Ac.0-13 1⁄2 gts in Sy.NO.1602/E of Ramayampet village and Mandal, Medak district under the provisions of the ROR Act as per the proceedings in File NO.15/2005 dt; 14.11.2005 of Respondent NO.4 by considering the representation dt;
20.8.2016 in accordance with law ....."
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction for disposal of the representation made by the petitioners along with others on 20.08.2016 treating the same as an appeal and dispose of the same at the earliest.
Learned AGP submits that the 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation, in accordance with law.
Having considered the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation dated 20.08.2016 made by the petitioners along with others against the Endorsement No.B/4975/2016 dated 12.08.2016 of the 4th respondent, treating the same as an appeal, and dispose of the same in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within a period of 6-8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
