HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.25506 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the applications dated 01.12.2014 and 19.07.2017 for providing the employment under the scheme of compassionate appointment to the petitioner No.2 as per G.O.Ms.No.504, dated 21.02.2014, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to provide employment to the 2nd petitioner in terms of the said G.O.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for GAD submits that after bifurcation of the districts, the 2nd respondent is the competent authority and he has to take action on the applications of the petitioner. It is also stated that petitioner can be permitted to make fresh application to the 2nd respondent. In view of the facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petitioners are directed to submit fresh application to the 2nd respondent in respect of their grievance and on such application being submitted by the petitioners, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of application from the petitioners.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 01.08.2017 tk
