Heard Sri V. Sree Ranga Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri J.Sreenivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not consideration the application of the petitioner dated 25.06.2014 for his appointment under Dependent Employment Scheme, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently to direct the respondents to provide suitable employment to the second petitioner. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 25.06.2014 made by the petitioner, seeking employment under the Dependent Employment Scheme, at the earliest.

Learned Standing counsel for the respondents did not dispute the same, but however states that a direction may be given for considering the application in accordance with law. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.06.2014 and pass orders in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
