B.Nageswara Rao, S/O. Krishnaiah v. State Of Andhra Pradesh
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 38770 of 2015 ORDER:
Though the prayer of the petitioner is entirely different from what is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is represented that the petitioner's application for grant of patta under Section 11 of the A.P. (Andhra Area) Estates Abolition & Conversion into Ryotwari Act, 1948, is pending before the 2nd respondent-Commissioner of Appeals since 2011, and therefore the learned counsel requests that the 2nd respondent may be directed to hear and dispose of the petitioner's pending application in File No.P2/290/2011, at the earliest.
2. Heard Government Pleader for Revenue, who states that the 2nd respondent will fix an early date for disposing of the petitioner's application provided that it is not yet disposed of.
3. In view of the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to fix an early date and after hearing the petitioner and examining the record, pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application, expeditiously, in accordance with law. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
