THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 18665 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not taking action against the unofficial respondents and in not registering the FIR pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dt.17.07.2019.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dt.27.08.2019 submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Sircilla P.S., Rajanna Sircilla District. To the extent of their relevance to the present writ petition, the said instructions read as under:

" It is submitted that the petitioner Md.Ghouse Pasha sent a complaint dt.17.07.2019, to the Superintendent of Police, Rajanna Siricilla District, wherein he alleged that one week prior to 17.07.2019 one Irukulla Praveen along with one Vaddepalli Shyam, reporter of TV-9 visited him and demanded Rs.2 lakhs, when his relatives revolted on them, they fled away, again after 2 days they reported the same and threatened him that they would see his end and that he is having life threat from Irukulla Praveen.

It is submitted that the same was forwarded to the SubInspector of Police, Siricilla, through proper channel, on receipt of above complaint, GD entry was made and preliminary enquiry was done, after enquiry a case was registered in Crime No.299/2019, U/s.385, 506 r/w 34 IPC of Siricilla Police Station on 26.08.2019."

In view of the aforesaid written instructions, recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
