This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief : "....to call for the records pertaining to and connected with the Impugned proceedings F/DP/PF/123, dated 10.03.2001 of the 1st respondent and set aside the same as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Officer JMGS-I on par with his juniors without insisting the C.C.No.158/04 on the file of Judicial 1st Class Magistrate Court at Huzurabad, Karimnagar District....". 2.
On 30.01.2020, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and to give one opportunity, the matter was adjourned to 04.02.2020 to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today, when the matter is called in the forenoon session there was no representation, therefore, passed over and called again in the afternoon session. In the afternoon session also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
Ms.Y.G.Keerthi, learned counsel representing Sri S.Mujib Kumar informs the Court that petitioner was promoted to Junior Management Grade Scale-I on 18.12.2013 and retired from service on 30.09.2019, on attaining the age of superannuation. 5.
Probably because petitioner was already promoted and retired, he is not evincing interest to prosecute the writ petition, therefore, there is no representation.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
