ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue a writ or order, more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein (a)to promote the petitioner as controller/ADC by counting the continuity of service granted by Hon'ble Labour Court.

(b)to grant stagnation increments immediately after completion of 12 years of service from the date of petitioner initial appointment by counting the continuity of service granted by Hon'ble Labour Court with all consequential benefits including pay fixation and arrears and pass such other order or orders in the interest of justice as other wise the petitioner may suffer irreparable loss and hardship." Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has submitted a representation on 17.1.2007 seeking stagnation increment and promotion, no orders have been passed by the respondent-Corporation so far. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submits that the respondentCorporation will pass appropriate orders on the said representation.

In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to consider the representation dated 17.1.2007 submitted by the petitioner and

pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
