ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize the services of petitioners with time sale of pay in Class-IV services on par with their juniors by implementing the judgment dated 06.12.1999 in W.P.No.12761 of 1990 and batch with all consequential benefits. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Endowments.

The petitioners contended that they were initially appointed as N.M.Rs., in 1990 and were continuously discharging their duties without any complaints. But the respondents are not regularizing their services by extending minimum time scale of pay attached to their posts.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that on earlier occasion, the petitioners filed W.P.No.12761 of 1990 and the same was disposed of by this Court on 06.12.1999 directing the authorities of the respondent-Devasthanam to consider the cases of the petitioners for grant of regular scale of pay subject to condition that the establishment charges do not exceed 30% of the total income of the respondent, within three months from that date. He further contends that pursuant to the said orders, though the petitioners are being continued, the respondents are not regularizing their services by extending the regular pay scale attached to their posts.

This Court, having considered the said submissions, is of the considered view that ends of justice would be met if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization, if they are continuing as on today, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
