Vide the present Criminal Petition, the petitioners seek to quash the charge sheet in C.C. No.584 of 2010 on the file of the IV Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, in Crime No.171 of 2010 of Kothapet Police Station, Guntur District, for the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 498-A IPC. 2.
Learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submits that during pendency of the present petition, the petitioners and respondent No.2-de facto complainant compromised the matter out of the Court and, therefore, respondent No.2 does not want to pursue the case further against the petitioners.

Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court along with her counsel. Learned counsel has identified respondent No.2 as Alapati Aruna, wife of Srikanth, resident of H.No.16-22-78, Machirajuvari Street, Old Guntur, Guntur District. In addition to the above, she has produced a photocopy of the Aadhar card issued by the Government of India, vide No.8157 0576 1814, and the said copy has been self-attested by respondent No.2 before the Court. The same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2, on instructions, submits that the matter has been resolved between the petitioners and respondent No.2 and, therefore, he has no objection if the present petition is allowed. 5.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent No.2, Crl.P.M.P. No.18439 of 2016 filed for compounding the aforesaid offences is allowed. Consequently, the proceedings in C.C. No.584 of 2010 on the file of the IV Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, Guntur District, against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3, are hereby quashed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise. There shall be no order as to costs. 7.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this petition, shall stand closed.
