This writ petition is of the year 2007. On 27.12.2007, this court admitted the writ petition and granted interim direction. Thereafter, the matter came up before this court on 14.10.2016. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Even today, when the matter is taken up, there is neither any representation for the petitioner nor the petitioner is present. Hence, it can be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed for non‐prosecution. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
