This Court has already passed an interim order on 03.08.2009 directing the respondents to release the post-metric scholarships to the petitioners. The matter pertains to the year 2009. Though the case is listed under the caption "For dismissal", none appeared for the petitioners and there is no representation on their behalf. Further, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition after lapse of eight years and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
