HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.27505 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the second and fifth respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioners for engaging them as hamalie workers as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (Telangana).

3. A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioners herein are residents of Gundalasingaram village, Hanumakonda Mandal of Warangal District. The respondents herein have started IMFL Depot in Gundalasingaram village. The respondents herein are engaging outsiders for loading and unloading of the stocks. The only grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents are not utilizing the services of the petitioners as hamali workers. A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioners herein have submitted a representation dated 05.05.2016 to the respondents 2 and 5 and the same was received by the respondents on 15.06.2016. At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the second and fifth respondents may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 05.05.2016.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the respondents 2 and 5 are hereby directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 05.05.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
