SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.18223 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The prayer of the petitioner in this case was as hereunder: 'The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue Writ, Order or Direction especially one in nature of WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS directing the Police Besthavararipeta (B.V. Peta), to produce the Petitioner's wife Mrs. Adilakshmi, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty and pass such other order or orders this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

The petitioner's wife, Adilakshmi, was produced before this Court on 08.08.2016 and she stated that she was willing to return to her matrimonial home. However, the petitioner sought time on the said day stating that he would have to consult his elders. The petitioner's wife therefore remained with her brother, K. Keshavulu. The matter was accordingly adjourned to 16.08.2016. On the said day, the petitioner expressed his willingness to take back his wife and this Court allowed him to do so. However, to ensure that the matrimonial relations were not strained, the matter was adjourned to 30.08.2016. Today, both the parties are present before the Court and state that they are willing to stay together. In that view of the matter, no adjudication is warranted in this writ petition.
