With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue.

The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any steps to incorporate the grant of occupancy rights issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranga Reddy East Division, vide Certificate Lr.No.J/1678/1998 dated 04.05.1998, in the revenue records in respect of the petitioner's land admeasuring Ac.0.13 gts., situated in Sy.No.136 of Girmapur Village, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India.

The averments in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition are as under:

The petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of land admeasuring Ac.0.13 gts., situated in Sy.No.136 of Girmapur Village, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. He is said to have purchased the same from Smt. Basavaraju Kalavathi @ Nagamani, who inturn purchased the same from Devalapally Janardhan Rao and Devalapally Venkata Rao. It is stated that pursuant to an application made by the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranga Reddy East Division, granted occupancy rights certificate on 04.05.1998. Thereafter, the petitioner made applications before the third respondent on 21.10.2010

and 17.08.2011 seeking issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds. It is stated that though the applications were made in the year 2010 and 2011, till date no orders are passed. Hence, the writ petition. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner raised various reliefs, but he restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the representation dated 17.08.2011 at the earliest, for which the Government Pleader for Revenue states that he has no objection.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to dispose of the representation dated 17.08.2011 made by the petitioner for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.0.13 gts., situated in Sy.No.136 of Girmapur Village, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, if it is still pending, in accordance with law, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
