This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in P.R.No.16/2016-17 of Pedakurapadu Prohibition and Excise Station, Guntur District, registered against the petitioner for the alleged offence punishable under Section 34(A) of A.P. Excise Act, 1968. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel for the petitioner that the facts of this case are identical to the facts of the case which fall for consideration before this Court in Crl.P.No.2104 of 2012 wherein this Court disposed of the same quashing the proceedings on 04.06.2014 by placing reliance on the previous decision of this High Court. In view of the similarity of the facts, following the above order, this Criminal petition is disposed of quashing the proceedings in P.R.No.16/201617 of Pedakurapadu Prohibition and Excise Station, Guntur District.
