The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the order passed by the first respondent in proceedings dated 22.07.2013, refusing to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment by transfer to the post of LDC, as illegal and arbitrary.

By an order dated 10.10.2013, this Court, while adjourning the matter, directed the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment by transfer to the post of LDC, pending disposal of the writ petition. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that after filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has been appointed as Emergency Junior Assistant in the time scale of Rs.10,520/ - to 19,520/ -, as per APCPDCL existing rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the said post is now made permanent also; that his services have been regularized and hence nothing survives for adjudication. 4.

Having regard to the above, nothing survives for adjudication and accordingly the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
