HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Criminal Petition No.3830 of 2017 ORDER:

Bail is pleaded on behalf of petitioner/accused in Cr.No.61/2016 of Maredumilli PS, East Godavari District in which he allegedly committed offence under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii) (c) of NDPS Act, 1985 for having illegally transported 30 Kgs. of ganja.

2) This is the successive bail application. The previous bail applicationCrl.P.No.237 of 2017 and batch was dismissed by this Court on 08.02.2017 by an elaborate order.

3) Learned counsel for petitioner would seek bail mainly on the submission that charge sheet was filed and case was registered as S.C.No.71 of 2017 on the file of I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram and the same is coming up for framing charges. 4) Having regard to the fact that commercial quantity of 30 Kgs. ganja was seized and the case is coming up for framing charges and in the previous bail order, the trial Court was already directed to complete the trial within four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order, it is not a fit case to grant bail at this stage.

5) Accordingly, bail application is dismissed.
