Petitioner filed W.P.No.21499 of 2011 challenging the punishment of deferment of annual increment for a period of two years with cumulative effect, which was modified by the appellate authority. The Writ Petition was partly allowed modifying the said punishment to that of stoppage of two increments without cumulative effect.

Learned standing counsel for the respondent - Corporation produced the proceedings reflecting crediting the amount of increment due by applying the modified punishment of withholding of two annual increments without cumulative effect and stated that the orders are complied and benefits are paid to the petitioner.
