This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'Cr.P.C') is filed by the petitioner/accused to quash the proceedings in FIR No.145 of 2016 pending on the file of Police Station, Neredmet, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Sections 354-D and 506 IPC.

Heard Sri V.Ramesh Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner. Learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana represented that the Police have already filed charge sheet and the same was taken cognizance by the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, and it was numbered as C.C.No.720 of 2016 and hence, the instant petition, which is filed for quashment of the Proceedings in FIR has became infructuous and prayed to dismiss the petition.

It is seen that pending Criminal Petition, no stay was granted. In view of the submission of both the counsel, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
