HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6607 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.581 of 2012 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nalgonda, which was registered against him for the offence under Sections 403, 406 and 420 IPC.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 15.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Nalgonda II Town PS., Nalgonda District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 30.08.2011 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.581 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) There is no representation for petitioner.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
