ORDER:

Petitioner filed this writ petition questioning the seizure of her bus

bearing No.KA 51 B 9092. The affidavit itself shows that the vehicle had permit to ply in Karnataka but at the time of check, it was found plying in the State of Andhra Pradesh, hence, respondent No.3 seized the said vehicle, in view of the irregularities pointed out in the check report.

2. Petitioner seeks release of the vehicle but there is nothing on record to show that the petitioner approached the second/third respondent seeking release of the vehicle. Hence, the petitioner is permitted to approach the competent authority and request for release of her vehicle and if and when such an application is filed, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders imposing suitable conditions, as the competent authority deems fit and proper, for release of the vehicle, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
