HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 17294 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings dated 26.08.2002 passed by the 3rd respondent disengaging the services of the petitioners, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to regularize the services of the petitioners with effect from 13.05.1999. While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to re-engage the petitioners into service vide orders dated 09.09.2002 in WPMP No.21706 of 2002 and the said interim order was made absolute vide orders dated 10.03.2003 in WVMP No.857 of 2003. In pursuance of the interim orders dated 09.09.2002, the petitioners were reinstated into service and they are continuing in service. Therefore, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.

If the petitioners are continued in service, they shall not be disturbed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
