Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Govt. Pleader for Legal Metrology, Govt. of A.P. for the respondents. The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows:- " To pass an order, direction or a writ particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring that the inaction on part of the respondent No.2 in considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2016 to enable him to cure the alleged defects in his application dated 21.05.2016 for alteration of repairing license, is highly illegal, arbitrary and amounts to dereliction of duties, consequently this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2016 to enable him to cure the alleged defects in his application dated 21.05.2016 for alteration of repairing license, and pass any other order or orders."

In view of the Writ Petition prayer, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on own merits and pass appropriate orders within two weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
