O R D E R:- The petitioners assert that they are absolute owners of various extents of lands mentioned in Annexure-1, which is filed at page No.14 of the material placed on record, situated in Reddyganapavaram village, Buttaigudem Mandal, West Godavari District. While so, it is stated that the 3rd respondent issued Preliminary Notification dated 19.08.2015 proposing to acquiring their lands for the purpose of Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Scheme and also inviting objections if any from the petitioners.

Now, the grievance of the writ petitioners is that even though they filed claims / objections on 08.10.2015 and 14.10.2015 requesting the respondents to examine their issues and pay compensation in respect of their lands, the respondents have neither considered their objections nor paid compensation so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed seeking appropriate directions.

Keeping in view the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is inclined to

dispose of the writ petition with the following direction: "Respondent Nos.3 and 4 are directed to consider the claims/objections said to have been filed by the petitioners on 08.10.2015 and 14.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall take decision strictly confining to the objections raised by the petitioners and communication the same to them in writing within a period of one week thereafter. It is needless to mention that if the petitioners are still aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondents, they are at liberty to approach appropriate forum."

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
