Petitioner's grievance is that he filed an implead application in Appeal No.F2/5414/2009 pending before the 2nd respondent against the order dated 12-11-2007 of the 3rd respondent filed by respondents 4 and 5 and that the said application is not being decided by the 2nd respondent in spite of the fact that the said application has been filed on 08-10-2015.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 3 states that the 2nd respondent will pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application for impleadment in Appeal No.F2/5414/2009 pending on his file within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the said appeal has not been disposed of.

In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the

implead application filed by the petitioner in Appeal No.F2/5414/2009 pending on his file within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the said appeal has not been disposed of as on today and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
