HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2990 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No.89 of 2013 on the file of II Town Police Station, Karimnagar, registered for the offences under Sections 380, 420, 506 IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 13.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Karimnagar II Town Police Station, Karimnagar District and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.702 of 2013 was registered and the same was ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 07.02.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.89 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
