HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 36360 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Revenue and Government Pleader for Assignment. With consent of all the parties, the writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the application, dated 20.09.2016, submitted by the petitioner to cancel the D-form patta issued in favour of unofficial respondent in respect of land admeasuring Ac.2.35 cents in Sy.Nos. 558/ 1A-1, 558/ 1A-2 and 558/ 1A-3 situated at Turumella Village, Rompicherla Mandal, Guntur District and to incorporate the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, as illegal, arbitrary; and consequently direct the respondent to issue pattadar pass books and title deeds in favour of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid land.

3) The main grievance of the petitioner is that though he made an application on 20.09.2016, till date no orders are passed on the said application.

4) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the fourth respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner on 20.09.2016 and pass

orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
