HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.SUBHASH REDDY AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.30036 of 2015 ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice R.Subhash Reddy) This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking Mandamus to declare the action of the 1st respondent in not appointing Chairman to the 2nd respondent - Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional, and consequently, sought a direction to the 1st respondent to appoint a Chairman to the 2nd respondent - Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad.
2. When the matter is called for hearing today, it is represented that the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad, has started functioning.
3. In view of the said submission, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. However, with regard to the interim relief sought by the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to move appropriate application before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad, in which event, the State Commission shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
4. Subject to the above direction, this writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
