THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL APPEAL No.1495 OF 2007 JUDGMENT:

When the matter had come up on 13.10.2014, none appeared for the appellant and there was no representation on her behalf. Later, the matter underwent three adjournments i.e., on 17.11.2014, 4.6.2015 and 26.7.2016. On 26.7.2016 also, none appeared for the appellant and there was no representation on her behalf and hence, the matter was posted to today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today also, when the matter has come up for hearing, none appears for the appellant and there is no representation on her behalf. Therefore, the appellant is not evincing any interest in prosecuting her case.

2. The Criminal Appeal, is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution.

3. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Appeal shall stand closed.
