THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTI CE SHAMEEM AKTHER CI VI L REVI SI ON PETI TI ON No.2 1 5 5 of 2 0 1 9 ORDER:

This revision, under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner/ respondent aggrieved by the order dated 26.12.2018 passed in I.A.No.587 of 2018 in H.M.O.P.No.94 of 2016 by the Senior Civil Judge, Nalgonda. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the revision petitioner and perused the record.

3.

Learned counsel for the revision petitioner would submit that the revision petitioner has no sufficient means. As the revision petitioner is maintaining his parents and children, grant of maintenance @ Rs.10,000/ - per month is on higher side and ultimately, prayed to modify the impugned order. 4.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the revision petitioner is educating his children in Narayanamma College, which is a reputed college. It demonstrates that the revision petitioner has substantial means to maintain himself, his children as well as the respondent-wife. Now-a-days, cost of living is very high.

5.

Under these circumstances, grant of Rs.10,000/ - per month towards maintenance pending disposal of H.M.O.P. is not excessive. The Court below is justified in exercising its jurisdiction. It did not commit any illegality. There are no grounds to interfere with the impugned order.

Dr. SA, J C.R.P.No.2155 of 2019 6.

In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
