This petition is filed, by the petitioner, seeking for quash of the proceedings against him in Crime No.108 of on the file of Golkonda Police Station, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Sections 120-B, 191, 192, 196, 465, 468, 469, 420 r/ w 34 IPC.

The Public Prosecutor files a Memo stating that the matter has been compromised between the parties before Lok Adalat on 25.08.2018 and that the police of Jeedimetla Police Station have also filed written instructions to the same effect before the Registry.

Hence, considering the above, this court opines that continuation of further proceedings against the petitioner would be an abuse of process of law.

Recording the same, the Criminal Petition is closed. Interim stay granted by this court on 26.08.2013 in this petition shall stand vacated. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
