Today, when the matter is taken up, on instructions, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that pursuant to the impugned show cause notice bearing Rc.No.63/2018/A2 dated 27.4.2018, the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent-3rd respondent passed final order of suspension on 11.5.2018 and thereafter on the request made by the petitioner herein, the authorities compounded the offence and imposed penalty of Rs.1,50,000/- and at present, the petitioner is operating the said shop.

In view of the above developments, nothing survives in the writ petition for further adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
