THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 9901 OF 2015 O R D E R:

The petitioner, who was working with Pedagadavalli Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, Uppalagupttam Mandal, East Godavari District, has competed for recruitment as staff assistant notified by the 4th respondent bank as an internal candidate, but however, he did not end up in the merit list of the internal candidates to fetch selection for him. However, it appears, from the open market, when some of the candidates have not accepted the selection, the posts have been kept vacant and unfilled. In those circumstances, the petitioner appears to have drawn a representation on 26.12.2014 and submitted to the 4th respondent bank to consider his case against any of those vacancies. It is for the bank to take an appropriate decision in accordance with law.

Since more than three months' period has already elapsed, it is only appropriate that the 4th respondent shall take up the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner on 26.12.2014 and deal with it strictly in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner as expeditiously as is possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri K.V. Narasimha Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand dismissed.
