THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7053 OF 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C) seeking to quash the proceedings in crime No.119 of 2015 on the file of the Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Cyberabad, registered for the offence under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

When this matter has come up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor submitted that after completion of the investigation in the above crime, charge sheet was filed and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and the petition has become infructuous. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners are given liberty to approach the Court below seeking appropriate relief in accordance with law. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
