Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for respondents. These two writ petitions are being disposed of by this common order in view of the common relief sought in these two matters.

The petitioner in W.P.No.23985 of 2015 claims to be the lease holder of agricultural land admeasuring Ac.10.84 cents in R.S.No.195, 197 of Serigolvepalli Village, Gudivada Mandal Krishna District and the petitioners in W.P.No.23987 of 2015 claim to be the absolute owners of the agricultural lands, viz., the 1st petitioner owns Ac.4.701/2 cents in R.S.Nos.18.2A, 3, 5, 21/3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 23/4, 5; 2nd petitioner owns Ac.0.50 cents in R.S.No.21/1; and the 3rd petitioner owns Ac.4.13 cents in R.S.Nos.16/3, 4A,B, 5, 7A, 7B, 7C of Kocherla Village Kalidindi Mandal Krishna District. Since the said lands are not fit for agricultural operations, the petitioners wanted to convert the said lands into fishponds. Accordingly they submitted applications for conversion permission on 25.11.2014 and 27.06.2014 to the 3rd respondent.

In spite of receiving the said applications no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent. Hence the present writ petition is filed. As per G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013, the 2nd respondent is the competent authority for granting conversion permission to the petitioners to convert their lands into fish ponds.

are available with the 2nd respondent, he shall consider the same after taking necessary action by respondents 3 and 4, and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
