THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.40792 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Questioning the resumption order, dated 04.12.2009, passed by the Tahsildar, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, the 4th respondent, and the order, dated 04.04.2015, passed by the Special Grade Deputy Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranga Reddy District, the 3rd respondent, dismissing the appeal filed against the order, dated 04.12.2009, the petitioners filed revision before the District Collector, Ranga Reddy District, the 2nd respondent, on 26.10.2015 along with stay petition. The present Writ Petition is filed complaining that the revisional authority has not taken up the said revision or the stay petition for hearing and thereby they are apprehending that the orders of the 4th and 3rd respondents impugned in this revision would be executed against them.

Keeping in view that the petitioners revision is pending before the 2nd respondent since 26.10.2015, it is appropriate that a date of hearing be notified on the said revision petition at the earliest. The 2nd respondent is, therefore, directed either himself or if the revision is made over to any Joint Collector in his office, such Joint Collector shall fix a date of hearing expeditiously, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the petitioners and then hear and dispose of the revision or atleast stay petition filed in the said revision on the date so

fixed.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
