No representation for petitioners.

Heard Mr.Gadi Praveen Kumar, Standing Counsel for respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioners pray for Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondents in considering petitioners' names or including their names in select list for departmental promotion committee for promotion as Assistant Executive Officer, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

On 29.11.2007, this Court directed respondents to consider and dispose of representations dated 05.09.2007 and 17.11.2007. The counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the representations are considered and the petitioners were also given promotion through proceedings dated 03.06.2010. From the above, it is clear that with the passage of time and the proceedings dated 03.06.2010 of respondents, the petitioners are not interested in working out the writ prayer. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall no order as to costs.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed.
