The case of the petitioners is that the son of the petitioners 1 and 2 got electrocuted in order to save their neighbour Smt. Dasari Lalitha from electrocution and died in that process. The petitioners made representation on 11.08.2017 to the District Collector, Warangal Rural District, for grant of compensation of Rs.20,00,000/-. As the same is not being considered, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Since the grievance of the petitioners is pending before the District Collector by way of a representation, it is for the competent authority to consider the said representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 11.08.2017 in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
