HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.10115 OF 2011 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1, A2, A4, A6, A7 and A8 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.266 of 2011 on the file of Patancheru Police Station, Medak District, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 27.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Patancheru Police Station and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 20.02.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.266 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
