Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government pleader for services-II (TG).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have serious grievance in not granting the service benefits they are entitled to and in not considering them for promotion as Village Revenue Officers, even though they have rendered sufficient service. Though elaborate submissions are made, learned counsel for the petitioners, fairly submits that for the present, petitioners are satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respective District Collectors to dispose of the representation made by them on 06.06.2017 by fixing a time frame for consideration and passing orders.

Having regard to this submission, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents 3 to 7 to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 6.6.2017 and to pass appropriate orders on their service grievance, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
